Mr. Mayer assists individual, municipal and corporate clients. He serves individual clients in the full spectrum of domestic relations and family law matters including divorce, dissolution, post-decree, and child custody proceedings. 

Mr. Mayer also helps individuals with the preparation of Wills, Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare, General Durable Powers of Attorney, Living Wills, Trusts and other instruments.

He provides municipal clients with legal services related to the civil and criminal issues unique to municipalities including contracts, civil liability, litigation, traffic and criminal prosecution, legislation and other matters.

Mr. Mayer also represents individuals and corporate clients in landlord-tenant matters including evictions and collection of damages.

1999 to Present

Mr. Mayer serves as the chief legal officer in both civil and criminal matters. In this capacity, Mr. Mayer provides legal advice to the City Council, City Manager and City Officers in matters relating to their official duties. 

Mr. Mayer attends all City Council Meetings and prepares ordinances, resolutions and legal documents for the City. 

The duties also include representing the City, its officers, and employees in civil lawsuits involving the interests of the City. 

Finally, the Solicitor is responsible for prosecuting criminal actions in the Fairborn Municipal Court and performing other duties required by the City Manager or law.

Assistant Prosecutor August 1995-December 1999.
Mr. Mayer prosecuted all misdemeanor cases in Fairborn Municipal Court that arose in the City of Fairborn, Bath Township, and Beavercreek Township. The responsibilities also included handling all case appealed to the Second District Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Special Prosecutor

Mr. Mayer has served as Special Prosecutor for the City of Dayton, City of Springfield, City of Beavercreek and City of Xenia.

Mr. Mayer has been active in service to the local community. He served several years with the Fairborn Rotary (Board of Director 1997 to 2003). Mr. Mayer serves on the Boards of Directors for the Fairborn YMCA and the Miami Valley Military Affairs Association.

    Ms. Deeds is the assistant prosecuting attorney for the City of Fairborn.

    Ms. Deeds represents the City of Fairborn and the State of Ohio in prosecuting misdemeanor criminal matters that occur in within the City of Fairborn, Bath Township, and Beavercreek Township. Ms. Deeds has gained extensive jury trial, bench trial, and appellate experience through her position as assistant prosecutor.
